Activities at Victoria House Care Centre during May 2017
During May 2017 service users at Victoira House Care Centre enjoyed various activities, please read below some examples of what they have been doing.
- Some service users from Victoria House joined thousands of people across the UK by taking part in a walk "Step Out For Stroke", organised to spread the awareness of strokes and raise vital funds for work and support in the community. Medals were awarded to those who took part.
- A walk in Stewart's Park was enjoyed by Victoria House service users, and the ice cream from the van in the park was delicious, as was the visit to Henry's Cafe.
- Victoria House service users enjoyed their regular visit from Motivation & Co therapists who provide cognitive motivation to the residents as part of the recreational facilities provided.
- Service Users at Victoria House Care Centre enjoyed a "Balloon Bashing" event. See the photo of large balloons filled with rice for more noise!
