Victoria House January/February 2017 News update
Christmas is now behind us and service users have put away the jumpers they enjoyed decorating for Christmas Jumper Day.
Service users have also enjoyed an Elvis Night, dressed up in the "Kings" clothing and sung along to his music.
Zoo Lab brought different guests to the Home - creepy crawlies, snakes, spiders and some very cute bunnies which the service users could cuddle.
Every Tuesday service users can enjoy the pub experience where they can enjoy traditional pub lunches such as pie & peas or fish & chips.
Wednesdays service users can be papmered by the Hairstylist in our own Salon.
Thursdays we have our Coffee Shop - service users enjoy baking and a natter with a cuppa.
Burns Night was a success "tatties, neeps and haggis" were thoroughly enjoyed and washed down with a dram of whisky before trying our hand at Scottish Dancing.
Coming up we have Chinese New Year to celebrate. Servcie users can taste traditional Chinese delights, enjoy fortune cookies and crafting Chinese lanterns.
Valentines Day, 14th February - we have valentines crafts and poetry during the day and our Valentine Ball in the evening with Gilly entertaining us with music from the 40's and 50's.
Mothering Sunday, 26th March 2017, we see service users enjoying traditional high tea.
Easter will bring lots of chocolate delights with an Easter Egg Hunt around the Home and a visit from Thorntons!

Halloween Party at Victoria House Care Centre
Residents at Victoria House Care Centre have enjoyed a Halloween Party today, playing "Spooky Bingo", "Throw on the Witch Hat" and enjoyed a selection of Halloween themed food and mocktails.
