NAPA Gingerbread House Challenge - Four Seasons Care Centre
Four Seasons Care Centre residents have recently taken part in the NAPA (National Activity Providers Association) Gingerbread House Challenge and won some of the winning prizes.
One of which was Audrey Simpson's Gingerbread House with a Christmas theme. Please read below Audrey's reason for choosing this theme:-
I chose to do a Christmas themed gingerbread house as Christmas is my favourite time of the year and brings back happy memories of my childhood.
I loved seeing all the Christmas trees with their fairy lights and the trees twinkling in the house windows.
We always had a real Christmas tree in our house and mum would complain about the pine needles. I wanted a lot of snow and snowballs on my house as I used to love having snowball fights with my brother Malcolm. I always used to let him win as he was my little brother.
The star in my house reminds me of the star of Bethlehem, another important part of Christmas.

Well done to all.
